This actually is a pretty damn good score given the fact that there is virtually zero visuals minus murders in gruesome ways and basically all dialogue all movie in one room. Considering that, that should tell you how I felt about this movie. It’s hard to put up numbers like that given those variables. But this is no doubt an EXCELLENT FREAKING FILM.
A lot like Bullet Train, this is a movie that I have never seen done before. And what I mean by that, like I said about Bullet Train, this movie is “horror” movie, but it is done in such an incredible. So different than the over played jumpy scenes and scare tactic gore we are all so used to. When you watch, you will know what I mean.
An INCREDIBLE acting job by both Anna Taylor Joy and Ralph Fiennes. A best in the world cook hosts a night of fine dining at an island restaurant for the elite of society. A small group. What they do no know, is they are all there by design. With a sinister plan from the chef. Who has basically had enough of people not appreciating the finer things in life. And basically for being shitty people. Than just a brilliant cat and mouse game ensues between Joy and Fiennes with a nice plot twist at the end.
I found it very interesting, VERY thought provoking and the acting is fantastic. It is not cheap thrills horror, you actually do feel spooked in a way that is not with some gimmick. Just a really cool movie. That is a review.
