As I do these reviews I have come to a conclusion. There is a very definitive case for Christian Bale being the best actor of our generation. And it just hit. It is always Leo or Denzel or I dunno, Tom Hanks. You never hear Christian Bale. I think I am telling you right now, I think he is the best actor of our generation. If not it is close between him and Leo. Denzel is always in good movies but he’s always kinda the same guy. An awesome guy. But you know. Anyway, Christian Bale man.
This movie takes place in the 1890’s and Christian Bale is tasked with escorting Cheyenne Indians that were being held prisoner back to their homes in Montana. The route to get there, a very long one, is also very dangerous with other rival Native tribes as well as whites. Things get complicated as well when he stumbles upon a recently widowed woman (that blonde actress whose always playing someone crazy) and her kids and choose to bring them with to take care of them as well.
It is a slow western drama, but it has a super cast, Bale is wonderful in it, and it is thought provoking and a lot of scenes that get you in your feels for sure. This is a REALLY GOOD MOVIE. That is a review.
