Andrew Garfield crushes this role. Based on the true story of World War 2 hero Desmond T. Doss, who save SEVENTY FIVE men single handedly in Okinawa Japan. That would be insane by itself. One guy saving 75 guys. Ok but here is the thing. This Doss kid, WAS ANTI GUN! He wanted to serve his country, but hated guns and violence. So they made him a medic. This dude got made fun of relentlessly. Obviously. And picked on. But he was who he was. And his company got involved in a nasty battle with lots of deaths and with ZERO GUN saved 75 guys. And the way he did, is mind blowing. Just an incredible story. You have to see this. It is an EXCELLENT FREAKING FILM. That is a review.
