DJANGO UNCHAINED: 8.6

I have lost track of what I have said is “the best” or “top 4” and I do not care. This is my site I make the rules. This is a top 4 opening in movie history. It really is just an incredible way to start a movie.

Tarentino so you know its great. Jamie Foxx and Christopher Waltz roam the south in slave era looking for 3 brothers. Foxx a recently freed slave travels with Waltz a white man who has recently freed him to find these 3 men, as Waltz is a bounty hunter and these men are wanted. Foxx knows who and where and what these guys look like.

Leads them to Leanardo DiCaprios plantation (any movie with Tarantino not feature him?, secret love affair?). First half is exploration. Second half is this very intense game of cat and mouse where Leo and his butler/slave Sam Jackson start to suspect these 2 are not who they say they are.

Incredible acting, incredible dialogue, great story, LOT of parts in the movie where you might feel REALLY uncomfortable for a number of reasons but either way it is a high end EXCELLENT FREAKING FILM.

If you are wondering how this does not make it masterpiece for me, it is not the most thought provoking movie. And the visuals are cool but they don not blow you away. Still. Nothing wrong with an 8.6. You must see this movie. More than once. I have watched it I think 5? Rambling now. That is a review.
