WHAT A FUCKING EXCELLENT FUCKING FILM. WOW. This movie kicks so much ass. I stared at the screen for a solid 20 min in silence AFTER the movie ended, and THAT is exactly the mark of an EXCELLENT border line OUTSTANDING MASTERPIECE.
Overall enjoyment was a 10, EXTREMELY thought provoking and you felt SO many ways. You felt sad at one point, you felt excited at multiple points, you laughed A WHOLE LOT, you felt pissed the fuck off, man it was a movie of feeling shit. The music in movie, bonus, absolutely rocked. THE STORY WAS INSANELY INTERESTING. Like HOLY SHIT. If you do not know this story, or think you know this story, or even if you know it like the back of your hand, it is a must watch. The way that they did the film, from 4 peoples point of views was genius. The acting was spectacular. A star studded cast. Honestly, visuals was all that killed it from being a 9 but if I was just going off the top of my head this is a 9 flat. So I am not far off.
In 2020 a MASSIVE group of retail investors (little guys like you and I) decided that they were going to really fuck over hedge funds on Wall Street by buying an insane amount of shares, non stop, in the company Gamestop. A company going out of business that Wall Street stood to make a ton on if they went out of business. Which they were, until, Kitty comes along. You will get that reference when you watch. Kitty and his army come together to literally take down the richest people on Wall Street with just sheer determination and guts. And got MEGA rich. The GAME STOP meme stock story is nothing short of an incredible story about the little guy over the big guy, one about the big guy cheating and trying to get away as always and courage. An absolute must watch, this could easily be a 9. I thought it was that good. Keep in mind though, I am a finance bro so it might be more interesting to me than a non finance bro but I think they did a good job making it interesting for everyone. Holy shit what a great movie. I actually already watched it twice. And have listened to the sound track at the gym. GO WATCH IT. That is a review.
