My love for futuristic dystopian films has no boundaries. I absolutely love them. So a movie in that category is going to have to be REALLY bad for me to give it a bad score.
This was by far not even close to some of the best dystopian films. But, it was a lower level SOLID FILM. An astronaut at a space station comes back down to a earth that is decimated by insane tides and water. She goes down on a mission with a crew but soon becomes the only survivor. And taken prisoner by the tiny colony of citizens that were left behind on earth, which obviously do not care too much for her as they abandoned them there to die on earth many years before.
She fights for her survival and starts to question a lot of things about her own life and these people left here on earth, that she is now seeing for the first time. It is interesting. It will not blow your mind away, but it is interesting. That is a review.
