Holly Flax oops I mean Amy Ryan delivers a pretty good performance in this based on real life event. Her daughter who is an escort, goes missing after she is seen running out of her clients home. The home, is in a gated community an hour away. She has a driver that tries to calm her down but eventually loses her as she runs through side streets and tough terrain.
This private area soon becomes a hot spot for dead escorts. They find 4 laying out in the road a couple days after the main daughter goes missing. None of them are her though. Amy Ryan plays the determined mom who will stop at nothing to find her daughter. What makes this movie pretty interesting is the police just completely covered something up and was completely inept. You be the judge but it seems by the end, their was some serious foul play in the movie.
Either way it is a SOLID MOVIE that you will not be bored in. It being a true story also makes it more interesting while also making it more heartbreaking as it shows how too often low enforcement could care less and give minimum energy to missing peoples cases when they are not societies elite.
