KANDAHAR: 5.7

I think I finally have Gerard Butler figured out. He is not a good actor. He just is not. He as zero range as an actor. He is the same person in the same role with that same dumb voice in every movie. The thing is, somehow he gets put into like pretty solid scripts. I have no idea how he is A list and stays there. But that is Gerard Butler, bad actor who gets roles in OK scripts, that are all some how related to people dying. It is like he is in the Liam Neeson world of acting. Just Butler is laughable fun. Most of his movies you just get through them. At least when he is lead. I have yet to see him star in a movie that I was like “yeah that is a good movie”.

This movie is no different. The only thing interesting about this movie is that it made me think about the aftermath of our withdrawal from Afghanistan and the impact it had on so many people. But it only did it very little, because well they focused more on other stuff that was frankly boring. Skip this dud, this movie STINKS. That is a review.
