THE PLATFORM: 7.1

This movie is an absolute trip. I will just jump in. This sci fi movie is about some sort of prison system in the future. And each person is stuck in their “level” if you will. Think of the prison as an elevator. A REALLY big and tall elevator. You can hear and see the people directly above and below you. You are put on a certain level of this prison. In the middle of the room is a huge square that when you look down, goes forever. Falling is obvious death. Each day, a huge platform comes down through this square hole, and it has A TON of food. It has a ton of food, when it starts. And it stop at each floor for a very short time. You can see, the people at the very top have it good. It basically has every food imaginable. But the lower it goes, the more scraps, bones, rinds etc are on the platform. You are picking at literal scraps. It is a fascinating idea and film. It follows the main character and a couple others who try to figure out how to get higher up in the “platform” and figure out why some get sent lower, which obviously is the worst. This is a FREAKING GOOD MOVIE barely. But worth a watch. Interesting as hell. That is a review. Futuristic interesting sci fi is the vibe here.
